Internal Examination:
Cracking the case of the power supply (which will void your warranty) we can see the internal components of the power supply.
I was expecting to see components which were much larger than normal power supplies, however the components here are similar in size to a normal power supply. There might be several extra components, but nothing that was out of place or over sized. I did like that there are two heatsinks included to help keep the components as cool as possible.
Looking at the components towards side of the power supply, I was happy to see that the 135mm fan could be changed if you are not satisfied with the one that was included. I also noticed that the termination of the power cables was not only soldered into place, but also had protective sleeves over the terminations.
Here you can see the 135mm fan. As you can see it is a plain black case fan with crystal clear plastic blades. This was a point of disappointment for me. I was hoping that the fan would be an LED fan, but this power supply is obviously a bit more serious than your typical LED illuminated unit.
