Cooler Master iGreen Power 500W Power Supply Unit

Packaging:

Like most of Cooler Master's products, the iGreen 500W power supply comes packaged in their standard bright purple and white retail box. It would definitely grab your attention if it was sitting on a shelf at brick and mortar store.

As with any good retail packaging, the box gives you plenty of information on what you will find in the box. The front of the box gives you just a tease of the power supply and its features. The real information is located on the sides and back. The back side shows you some pictures of the various connections and other features of the power supply.

One of the sides provides you with a more detailed list of specifications (as shown below). The opposite side only presents you with the various models.

Opening the box, reveals a fitted crate that keeps the power supply secure during shipment, and this is the kind of packaging I have come to expect from Cooler Master. Removing the manual and unfolding the flaps on the crate reveals that the power supply is also packed in a plastic bag with the cables secured away from the power supply to avoid them rubbing against the finish. Below the cables you will find a little bag with four screws, as well as the required wall outlet power cable.
