TelStar TLD-3500 Network Attached Storage Enclosure
September 07, 2006

Software Installation (continued):

During the mounting process, you might receive a "Found New Hardware Wizard" looking to install the NDAS SCSI Controller, this is required for the device to operate. After the device is mounted you should see the device listed with your other drives. If you do not, you probably need to go into Computer Management and ensure it is partitioned, formatted, and enabled properly.

If there was a problem with mounting the device, you can mount it manually by right clicking the NAS icon on the system tray, once you have resolved any other issues. Under the storage option it will give you the mounting choices. You can also register a new device or refresh the status if the device was disconnected and reconnected.

If the NAS device is disconnected for any reason, the software will attempt to reconnect. If it can not reconnect after several minutes, it will disconnect until you are able to reestablish the connection manually.
