Cooler Master Real Power Pro 750W Power Supply
July 23, 2007

Packaging:

The retail box for the Cooler Master Real Power Pro 750W Power Supply has the same style as most Cooler Master products I have seen. On the front is a photo of the unit, which is accompanied by the product name and a honey comb design. The back is all business, with the features ,specifications, and images / quantities of the different connectors included. One odd thing I noticed on the specifications was that it only lists three 12v rails, while there are actually four.

Opening the cover of the box reveals the very well packed power supply and cables. Everything is really stuffed into the Styrofoam inserts with the cables in a small side area. The power supply is protected in a plastic bag with its large 120mm fan peaking through.

The Basics:

Moving on to the actual power supply, here is the Cooler Master Real Power Pro 750W Power Supply removed from its box and plastic bag. As you can see, this is not a modular unit and the cables bundled together can get a little messy considering how many are included.

The specifications sticker located on the side of the unit shows that it has quad 12V rails @ 19A each, while the 3.3V and 5V rails are both rated for 25A. Cooler Master made a huge mistake on the specifications listed on the back of the box, forgetting the fourth 12V rail. The rear of the power supply has a honey comb mesh with the standard on/off switch and plug for the power cord.

The 120mm fan has an intelligent speed controller and should be very quiet give its 17dBA rating. Taking a look at the fan from the inside of the unit shows that it is a SUPERRED brand unit rated at .26A / 12V.
