From the list of features and specifications it can be seen where ECS has decided to pick and choose features available with the Intel G33 chipset in order to make this a "value" offering. While the chipset can support DDR2 and DDR3, the G33T-M2 provides four DDR2 slots only... This will not be the board you build your crossover system on, sorry. In addition, the ICH9 south bridge chip partnered with the G33 on this motherboard is the most basic of four levels available. It supports four SATA 2 devices (but not RAID), and Firewire is another feature absent at this level, but available higher up the chain. And even though the promotional images on the ECS website (and as shown above) indicate that there are basic items such as a parallel port included, that also is an option not found on this sample.
