The Basics:

Inside the box we find the Zephyr 650W power supply and a small black box that contains the user's manual, bag of mounting screws, A/C power cord, and two black Velcro cable ties.

The HEC Group Zephyr 650W is a good looking power supply with a nice chrome finish. It has a 120mm blue LED intake fan and a plain black 80mm exhaust fan. The power cables are all sheathed in a black mesh wrap, and they seem to be long enough to work in most, if not all, cases.

A view of the back side shows the 80mm fan, the A/C socket, and the on/off switch.

The motherboard connector has twenty pins, plus the optional four pin connector that most modern motherboards require. Unlike most power supplies though, the two connectors do not lock together in any manner, and the four pin connector has no locking device to hold it securely in place to the motherboard. After installation and significant use, this has not proven to be an issue at all.
