HEC Group Zephyr 650W ATX Power Supply
June 13, 2007

The Basics (continued):

All of the connectors are black plastic and appear to be of high quality materials. They have a unique locking device which seems to work well and give you a good positive connection.

As you can see in the picture below, the Zephyr 650W has plenty of power leads, which include:

» 20+4 pin mother board connector
» 2x P4 connector
» 2x PCI-E connector
» 2x leads with 3 each SATA connector
» 2x leads with 3 each 12v molex and floppy connectors

Internal Inspection:

Now as with every power supply I have ever seen, there is a seal covering a screw, and if the seal is broken you void the warranty. Such is the case with the HEC Group Zephyr 650W, and the images below show what is inside so you won't have to void your warranty to have a look for yourself

Installation:

All of the leads were easy to work with, making cable management very easy. The Velcro tie wraps worked great for bundling the extra power leads and tucking them out of the way, and the cables stayed where I put them. There were no issues installing the Zephyr 650W what so ever.
