Ultra Products 2GB Hydra MP3 Player

Menu and Options (continued):

The "FM" menu option (below left image) will switch to the integrated FM tuner. Pressing the A/B button will activate the auto-tuning feature which will save stations to the integrated 30 presets. If you prefer to use the manual feature, you can press the forward/back button to increase/decrease the frequency by 0.1MHz. Using the manual feature requires that the Play/Pause button be pressed to save a station to a preset. Once a preset has been configured it can not be deleted, but you can reuse it simply by saving a new station over it.

The fourth menu option is for the actual "Settings" on the player (above right image), and is probably the largest sub-menu on the player. With many sub-menus (which I will not fully explore here), you can set the EQ (Normal/Rock/Jazz/Classic/Pop), Play Mode (Normal, Repeat Track, Repeat All, Shuffle Repeat), Language (14 Languages), Contrast, Backlight (Disable, 3 Seconds, 5 Seconds, 10 Seconds), Power Saving (Disable, 1 Minute, 2 Minutes, 5 Minutes, 10 Minutes), Scoll (IDE Tag scroll speed), Screen Save, and finally Exit.

Next we have a "Delete" option. When you select it you will get the choice of Music, Voice, and Exit. After a selection is made, you can use the Next/Previous button to scroll through the music or voice recordings. The A-B/Rec button is used to complete the actual deletion. When you delete something, you will get a quick animation of the file going into a garbage can.

"Navigation" is the next menu option where you can scroll through file icons that represent each of the files on the device. You can select any audio file to play, and if you are looking for a specific file to play, this is the way to go.

Menu seven is a simple "About" menu that provides the firmware version and the total disk space used on the player. The final menu option is "Exit", which will take you back to the previous play mode.
