Accessories:
Tagan has included all of the necessary components. In addition to the standard installation manual and driver CD, a leather pouch is included for when you are transporting the enclosure. The cables that are included are: a USB to power, USB to mini USB, and eSATA to eSATA cable.
Installation:
After removing the four tiny screws the cover comes off easily. Surprisingly, there is not much to the internal components. There is a thin piece of plastic that will be between the hard drive and the chassis. In the second picture are the SATA connections.
The hardest part of putting this together is getting the hard drive into place. There is nothing to secure the drive to the chassis, however when the hard drive is slid onto the SATA connectors and put into place it will not move. It snaps in extremely tight, which eliminates the need for screws to secure it to the chassis. When I went to remove the drive, I had to put something into the screw holes and pull it up from the front, which was fairly difficult. Be careful of the wires along the side of the chassis, they can be pulled easily, and might break if pulled too hard.
To install the internal adapter, simply slide it into an available 3.5" drive bay and secure it using screws. When you are ready to insert the removable hard drive chassis, slide it into the adapter. As I mentioned previously, the first time you put the removable chassis into the adapter, there is a loud pop and it takes a good amount of force. After the initial insertion the drive slides in and out very easily.
