External Examination:
After removing the power supply from the packaging the first thing that I noticed was that the standard information label is on the bottom of the power supply, instead of the side. This is nice as it keeps the side clean for those who have a case with a window. In the below right image the mirror finish is visible. I took this picture in a low light situation to show off the true finish of the power supply. It is not a pristine mirror finish, as it appears that it has some type of coating on it that gives it a red/green speckled look when viewed at the right angle.
Both sides of the power supply are unmarked, with no labels to obscure the finish. Overall the appearance is more business-like than some other OCZ units (and units from other manufacturers). The finish is attractive, but not outrageous, and there are no LEDs to be found.
The back of the power supply has nothing surprising and features a standard 80mm exhaust fan, an AC power connection, and a few stickers to highlight some of the features.
On the front of the power supply we can see where the cables exit the housing. It appears that OCZ has attempted to begin the cable wrapping inside the housing, but didn't quite make it; a little more wrapping and it would be much neater looking. This side of the housing has slots cut out to allow the exhaust fan to draw air in from the case, which will cool the unit's internal components.
