Conclusion:
Logisys has an interesting design plan that unfortunately suffers from poor quality of construction. The misspelling in the labeling of the A/C switches was a bad omen of things to come, such as the 5.25" external drive drawer falling apart and the problem with the A/C sockets coming out of the back of the unit.
CrazyPC offers the Logisys Desktop Extension Station for the price of $49.99 which would not be too bad of a price if Logisys had paid more attention to quality control and maybe offered the Desktop Extension Station in more than the white and clear color scheme. Searching the web shows that a few other retails have this device for about the same price, and many sellers on eBay think they can get even more money for it. If you think you need something like the Desktop Extension Station, CrazyPC is a prime source for this purchase thanks to their pricing and service.
Although I like the basic design and features of the Desktop Extension Station I can not recommend it due to the poor quality of construction.
