Ultra Products is constantly releasing new products that provide computer enthusiasts the hardware they need to enhance their systems. One of their newest products is a CPU cooler based on a thermo-electric design, sometimes referred to as a Peltier Cooler. This design uses a solid state active heat pump that transfers heat from one area of the cooler to another using two copper plates and two sets of four heat pipes running through a large radiator which has a fan blowing across the fins to cool them.

Ultra Products ChillTec Thermo Electric CPU Cooler provides more than enough information to make an informed purchase. The front of the box gives a brief overview of the features and provides a view of the cooler and the TEC controller. Other sides of the box provide more images and data, making it a very informative box. Inside the box, the ChillTec cooler is packed in a heavy duty plastic container which is held in place by a piece of plastic foam. This is more than adequate to ensure that the cooler is undamaged during even the roughest shipment.
