Internal Inspection:

Diving into the inside of the case you'll find a world of modular and tool-less features. The ten expansion slots feature screw-less installation, while the option to use screws is still available for those who prefer that extra bit of security. The metal covers on the expansion slots pop off without being bent, and snap back into place with ease in case you ever remove or relocate an expansion card.

The modular hard drive cage features five screw-less slots for 3.5" drives, and can be removed and re-installed with ease. This not only allows access to install hard drives, but is also how you gain access to the front intake fan. The cage is also drilled for mounting a 140mm fan to allow for additional VGA cooling. Two additional hard drive mounts sit on the ventilated bottom, and both can be swapped out to make room for 140mm fans!

One cautionary note on the hard drive cage: I installed four SATA drives in the cage, and when I slid it back into into position, it became very snug in the back where the SATA cables connect to the drives. With a little recklessness, impatience, or inappropriate force you may cause damage to your hard drives.

The motherboard tray is pre-drilled and well marked for ATX, M-ATX, E-ATX, and SSI CEB boards. The power supply support rail is rugged and pinned in place with thumb screws, making it easily adjustable to support any beast of a power supply.

The 5.25" bays again feature a screw-less design which safely secures your devices. Simply slide the drive or device into place and click the locking mechanism in. Within the 5.25" bay area is where Thermaltake has secured a box containing all of the accessories.
