Thermaltake Xaser VI VG4000BWS Super Tower Chassis

Internal Inspection (continued):

A power supply would be installed at the top of the case. Thermaltake realizes there are many different sizes of power supplies and they have designed a support bracket which you can move to accommodate larger units.

There are seven locations which this support bracket can be installed. To ensure a proper fit, there are also two edges on the top of the bracket which will help to keep your power supply from sliding out of place (however it shouldn't move if you secure it to the case with screws).

As mentioned previously, you can install two fans on the bottom of the case. The bottom of the case has holes cut out of it to allow air to flow through the bottom. Along the edge of the base, which raises the main portion of the case off the ground by about 1", there are some rubber feet. While these are sufficient, I would prefer some wheels which would help if the user needs to move the case.

There is also a pre-installed 140mm fan, located at the top of the case. I like a fan in this location as it should help to keep hot air from becoming trapped at the top of the case. While the other two pre-installed fans have blue LEDs, this one has a black frame with red blades. It is rated for 1000RPM at 16dBA, the same as the front intake fan.
