Assembly Required:

The fist step is to disassemble you current Xbox 360, stripping it all the way down to its basic elements. As seen below I have cannibalized my Halo 3 edition Xbox 360, putting me well past the point of no return. In the below right image we can see the original outer shell pieces fully removed; a process that went slowly, but was not difficult. A process I might add that is near impossible without some type of instructions.



Once my Xbox 360 was stripped I could install the XCM Diamond clear case. I first slipped on the small DVD cover, then the two large side pieces were screwed and snapped into place, a much easier and quicker processes than the removal. All that was left then was to simply snap the top and bottom pieces into place.



On the reverse side I found a flaw in the XCM Diamond Xbox 360 clear case mod. It appears it was designed with the original Xbox 360 in mind which did not have HDMI, and because of that you can see from the below image the HDTV/VGA connection is not accessible.



With the case fully assembled, it was time to move on to the clear controller mod. This was no more difficult than the case mod as it followed the same basic process. First, gut the current controller for parts, then transfer over to the new shell. It even has a built in light that you can solder to the controller PCB should you feel up to it.
