It's been nearly 2 months since I put everything together and all I have to say is that the Klipsch RB-61's paired with the Pop Pulse T-Amp and Super Pro DAC 707 simply ROCK! I had to pull the Zero DAC because it's got some over heating issues and to be honest, the Super Pro DAC 707 sounds much cleaner to me anyway. I'm currently listening to some Alison Krauss at 320Kbps and live mixing board recordings of the Grateful Dead from April/May of this year (also 320Kbps) and am extremely happy! Haven't gotten around to re-ripping any of my CD's to apple lossless and may not get to it for awhile. Most of my music lately has been via Amazon 256Kbps/VBR and I'm pretty happy with it as well.

Almost forgot, I also built some stands based on a design I found on the net. It's basically a Home Depot special, purchased a couple feet of 1x10 and 1x12 clear pine, 2 3' lengths of allthread, washers and nuts to fit, a couple 32" sections of 3" PVC pipe and some flat black paint. Pulled the router out and spent a couple hours making them. I also purchased some sand/small fishtank rock and polyfill (used for tank filters) at the local Petco and filled the PVC about 2/3 full of sand and then packed the remaining space with poly fill. Gives the stands a very nice heft and keeps them from resonating. Here's a crappy pic of one of them.

El Monte, CA – July 1, 2009 – NZXT, a company built on realizing the dreams of gamers worldwide, is proud to announce the Sentry 2, a full system fan controller with an advanced touch screen interface. Sentry 2 easily installs in a 5.25” bay and is compatible with any fan that uses voltage control. The innovative touch screen features ultra fast selection and response time and displays all pertinent info including temperature readout in both Celsius and Fahrenheit. Sentry 2 allows users to control up to 5 fans with the option for manually tuning individual fan speeds or letting the automatic controls take over to correspond to a specific temperature. The controller’s advanced functionality sounds an alarm to alert the user should the temperature exceed a preset amount and stores saved settings even after it is turned off. Designed to maximize efficiency, the Sentry 2 supports 10W per channel and creates less heat than traditional temperature displays.
The Sentry 2 will be available this month at an MSRP of 29.99. For more information on the NZXT Sentry 2 visit www.nzxt.com/products/sentry_2

Today we’ll be looking at a rather unique case with some rather unique dimensions; the NZXT Panzerbox. Named after the German “Panzer” tank used in World War Two, the Panzerbox shares a similar wide tank-like stance and packs a lot of cooling power into a small space. hardwarecanucks.com
When on the look out for a new case to out fit your rig, you may have a peek over at what NZXT is producing. NZXT is still a young company, only being established in 2004. However, they have produced a fairly decent sized list of computer chassis, some with a very unique design and look. With the NZXT Khaos at hand, one can only speculate as to what NZXT has in mind as a "unique" and "unparalleled design. techwarelabs.com
Today for review I’ve got the Eagle Arion ET-AR402IR-BK 2.1 iDock Speakers with Subwoofer, it’s an iPod dock, but most any audio source can be hooked up to it. When you first get the Eagle Arion iDock, the first thing you’ll notice is that it’s heavy and very well made with a nice subtle design to it. The design should fit in with most any decor, it looks very professional with clean lines, and a sleek look. testfreaks.com
Subject: Sparkle GeForce GTX 275 Video Card
Topic Replies: 0

If you're in the market for a new video card and wondering if Sparkle is a brand you can trust, I'd say the answer is yes. The company's card and bundle doesn't include any goodies or extras to wow or surprise, but the actual product is as stable a video card as one could ask for, and that's what ultimately matters. As for the Geforce GTX 275, it's a solid design that's generally a bit faster than its closest competitor, the ATI Radeon HD 4890. The GeForce GTX 275 is also a bit more expensive than its closest ATI competitor, so the price/performance ratio between the two is more-or-less consistent. legitreviews.com
