Our latest contest is centered on the US Presidential election process. In order to enter, all you have to do is vote for one of the candidates featured in the Bigbruin.com Presidential Primary. Unlike the real deal, anyone can vote as long as they are registered on the Bigbruin.com forum. You don't have to be a resident of the USA, over 18, or anything else like that.
The prize is a Rosewill RX81-CW-US-SLV eSATA/USB 3.5" Drive Enclosure, as seen in the recent Bigbruin.com review. And just as you don't know exactly what you'll get in any Presidential candidate, you might wind up with something a little extra with this election, too!
While there is no minimum post count required to participate, people are welcome to "campaign" for their candidate in the discussion thread after voting. Just please keep the discussions somewhat civil and respect the opinions of others (it isn't like politics have the potential to get people excited). Unless you post who you voted for, your vote will be kept private. The site admins will access the forum database to see who voted in order to pick a winner, but nothing else be collected or shared.
The Rules:
1. The polls are open until 11:59PM (eastern time) on February 22, 2008.
2. In order for your vote to count you must be a registered member of the Bigbruin.com forum.
3. One winner will be chosen at random from all voters.
4. The winner will be contacted on the forum and via e-mail, at which time they must provide their shipping address.
5. Shipping is covered by Bigbruin.com.
6. Rules subject to change.
(if your candidate isn't listed or drops out before the primary ends, sorry... 5 of the top candidates still in the race as of February 08, 2008 were selected)

I voted for Hillary Clinton, not that I'm sure she'll win.
Obama certainly has the youth appeal, not sure if he has nearly the experience, influence, or contacts to LEAD. (and we do need a strong and reasonable leader this time, some one to start cleaning up Bush's mess (es))
I think the GOP is in serious trouble, 8 years of DubbaTrouble and a lack of oversight has left a bad taste in everyones mouth for that branch of politics.
Don't think McCain has what it takes to bring the GOP together enough to win.
Romney GAVE UP, not a good thing for a president (or a wanna be)
The huskster only has a chance is church.
