Well, I can say that i was able to see my custom car, thats really it for now on that part, been playing solo. I did play online tonight and i didn't see any custom cars but i did see a player using a sport car on a stadium track and i have no clue how he did that.
Well I would say the fact that you saw a different car at all would mean its working for you.
Main problem isnt that you wouldnt see other custom cars (we see them more or less all the time), but in the fact that others cant see our custom cars (although we see them - others dont).
You have to pay, before other people can see your custom car maybe. _________________ It is far better to grasp the universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.
ITR: I think realistic.

We were talking about that possibility too, but so far noone confirmed whether thats true or not.
FYI...i also opened 2 ports in my router (because some people said that this is urgent for others to see your car), but i just asked other players and noone sees my custom car....so another myth busted...

so I finally hooked up my Rumblepad and I have to say, its much easier for me than using the keyboard. But I have to use the d-pad and not the analog sticks. hehe, this game is quite addicting even though I kind of stink at it.
I have seen some pretty funny looking cars though. One looked like a ballooned out Lambo haha

Any more ideas? Anyone?
Not all servers allow custom car views. But I do see custom cars and some of my friends see mine. Not sure how it works. _________________

Hmmm...it makes sense that not all servers allow custom cars...maybe that could be set in server settings.
But, since you said that some of your friends see your custom cars too...i wonder...how did you setup your custom car? The way Dr.Feelgood described at the beggining of this thread? Or how?
I see other custom cars...but others said they dont see mine...on same server...so either only a few can have custom cars on some servers...or i dont have them set properly?! (btw...i see my custom cars...and i also have all ports needed for the game open in my router...so dont know what else could cause that)
