Nice! You had the $400 GC, right? The winner of the $100 one keeps asking me what to do... You buy something like a case or psu approaching $100, and you pay almsot that mugh more in shipping. Other options are CPU coolers and then the shipping is reasonable, but you wind up leaving a good amount of the GC unused... _________________
Yes I won the $400 gift card. The CSX store no longer lists power supplies and cpu coolers, so he should probably call them up and discuss his options with them.
They offered me an older CSX Falcon Aluminum Mystique 632 Mid Tower Case, but I have no use for that so I declined.
Hi - The Dr is talking about me. I won a $100 gift and didn't use it right away because shipping ruined any deal. $90 PSU wound up close to $180 in the end, since shipping was also $90! Not worth it, even with a $100 discount since the same unit is in the $70's at Newegg.
I wrote an e-mail to the person who let me know I won, and they never wrote back... It has been almost 3 weeks.
Not sure I will ever spend this $100, since nothing is less than a few hundred dollars now.
Goose, I would call them up and see what they can do for you. With $100 you should be able to get a cpu cooler. It doesn't have to be listed on the CSX store, they can get it from the CM warehouse which is in the same building I believe.
Over a month since I placed my order and it still hasn't shipped. They claim the case is still on back order
I asked if I could get CM products which are not on the CSX site instead and am waiting for a reply.
I wouldn't mind one of their new V8 CPU coolers and a UCP PSU.
