Yea, I was looking at ndiswrapper too, problem is getting the driver. It's a HP/Compaq notebook so it's drivers come in this pre-packaged windows format. Gonna have to figure out how to get them so I can put them on the Linux partition.

extract them from the exe or zip or whatever, and throw them on a usb drive.

I was going to suggest NDISwrapper as well, it doesn't always do the job, but most laptops i've tried it on have pretty good luck with it. I think the wireless support is pretty good, most cards will work right off the bat from install. Unfortunately, newer cards that haven't been ported over yet will always have issues. I think they do a pretty good job on wifi support, considering the majority of hardware manufacturers make the cards to just to run on windows.

Also, why are you using crappy novell linux? :-P
