Here is the scoop. I am going to sell off some of my items, and half of the money is going to go to a charity working on a cure for the disease that hit me last year (Severe Aplastic Anemia). It has been about 20 months for me now, and although I feel so much better I am not fixed.

The terms are that I am going to give 50% off all sales to the charity. I will keep adding things to this thread and will cut a check when the sale seems to be over. Shipping is calculated separately and not included in the 50/50 split. People can pay via money order, check, or Paypal, and I will eat the Paypal fees.

Offers are welcome, especially on combo deals, but please don't lowball me. It's annoying, and besides... this is for charity! Grin

Keep an eye on the second post in this thread for a list of sold items, as well as a running tally of money to be given to charity!

Here is some info on the disease: Wikipedia.org entry from Aplastic Anemia

Thermaltake SwordM Full Tower Case

$200 - Pick Up Only. This case is like new, just minus the box... So I will not ship it. We can meet in or around Northern NJ... I'm in Zip 07876 and 07006 (home and work).

This is at Newegg... $500 before shipping and tax: Newegg.

Here are pictures:

HIS HD 2600 PRO IceQ Turbo 256MB GDDR2 PCIe

$40 plus shipping. In original box with original items. UPC is cut off of box for a rebate (which I don't think I ever got, hmm). Lightly used, and never overclocked. Two slot cooler.

Actual pictures available upon request.

Vantec NBA-100U USB External 5.1 Channel Audio Adapter

$15 + shipping. Barely used and includes just the adapter, manual, and CD.

Cooler Master X Craft 350 Hard Drive Enclosure

$15 + shipping. In original box with all accessories. Works great, looks great.

If this works out, I hope to keep this rolling. And in case someone is wondering, I don't think you can count buying these items as a tax deduction... but ask someone smarter on those matters if you are concerned about that.

Please PM or post with any questions, including requests for shipping quotes! Thanks!

any decent 939 mobo's lying around with PCI-E? :-)

Looking to buy a used one pretty soon here, and it would be cool to buy from this rather than elsewhere if I can.

Nope, sorry!

I did add some more items, and adjusted some prices to get the ball rolling.

For those on the newsletter mailing list (or those who get the hint to go join now)... There will be an e-mail Monday that should provide a little extra incentive to buy something. And if you buy now, you won't be left out, so don't feel you have to wait... Laughing

I figured I would cut out the middle man and decided to just make a donation on your behalf.

Hope everything is going OK.
