They must have a physical presence in New Jersey now, because I just saw this as I was contemplating an order:

All orders shipped within CA and NJ will be charged Sales Tax.

I ordered from them 2-3 weeks ago and didn't pay tax...

Having to factor in another 6% on top of their prices hurts them competitively!!

Has the tax existed for the CA people, or is that new, too?

Well either way you are supposed to state those non-taxed online purchases to Uncle Sam.... Wouldn't want to do anything illegal, now would we? Wave

What really sucks is when you order a bunch of parts and you get 3/4 of them, and you look at the FedEx tracking page only to find that one package is still en route from NJ. Normally I get my packages next day (through FedEx Saver!!!).... But I guess I can't complain; their customer service is invaluable.

It's mostly the cases that I order... It's weird. But what I do instead is go to CompGeeks.com and go to their will call (only about 15 miles away) for the cases. It works out well.

Sweet!! I ordered that board from Newegg late last night, and it shipped today... From NJ!! I just tracked it, and the shipping point is only about 25 miles away from my house, and its currently about 18 miles away!! Wonder if FedEx Express Savers can turn into Overnite due to the short distance!! Please, please, please!! Grin
