I'm considering buying a 30" LCD High definition T.V. because I need a t.v. for my PS2.... The T.V. also have a PC DVI input, and I was wondering if it would make a good monitor. I'm assuming it wouldn't do to great in first person shooters because of refresh rate. But I don't play those, I mostly just play telnet games and World of Warcraft. Do y'all think it would make a decent monitor, as well as a T.V.?

Depends on the resolution it'll do, most LCD's do something higher than what HD really is (720p) but that still makes for a so-so computer screen. Find out the resolution, usually now they are capable of producing 1080i pictures, which means the screen is prob around a 1920X1200 picture if it is widescreen.

is what I was looking at. It supports 1280x768 which I use on my current monitor. I can't find any specs about refresh rate, but I'm certain it wont' be below 25ms. It has DVI for pc input. Other than that I'm clueless about doing such a thing.
