The way banner ads work is that the paying ads show first, generally the better paying ads followed by the lesser paying ads... Then they roll over to "default" ads which may or may not be worth much.
For example... In the forum, if you see the ad for Gateway Widescreen Plasma TVs... the allotment of paying ads is spent!
So... to get to the point. I'd like to make a few 468x60 and 728x90 banner ads that aren't really for anything, but just perhaps funny. Or they could be used to attract people on the main side of the site into the forum...
I'd give-away some more stuff if anyone could make some good ones... either static images, animated gifs, or flash.
The 468x60 ads would be used on the main side of the site and could point to the forum... the 728x90 ads could be used on the forum and point to the main side of the site.
Viper Lair has some funny ones like this... fake testimonials from celebs about Viper Lair saving their lives and what not...

I don't really have any ideas, or a direction for this... but I don't want it to be too racy, etc. I think the Viper Lair one is pretty funny, but don't want that cloned, either. I don't know... Maybe mimic common banner ads you see online, but make BigBruin.Com the "Company". _________________

I may try that app Evil Cheeze... thanks! I have a ad manager on the site, but now most ads are managed off site.
But, I'd just like some funny ads to show on here when the good ones run out. Like mocking common banner ads or whatever, and making them point right back to BigBruin... _________________
