This might not be what your after, but for $250 I bought a Toshiba E800 PDA and for another 39.95 I bought a GPS antenna.
I have found at least 10 GPS programs that work with this setup and I can watch movies, listen to MP3's play games, get email, write a letter, browse the internet (when in a WiFi spot) and tons of other stuff.
take a look at {Lame attempt to advertise some software}.com. It's quite inexpensive and easy to use. Can compare it with tomtom. Might be something for ya

Garmin and Bendix/King are my favorite. I know they're of great quality and accuracy, too, as those are what's in the planes I fly
For ground nav, I've only seen the Garmin in action and was pretty sweet setting it to show me how to get to a party a few weeks ago (trusted it enough not to get mapquest, hehe). _________________ Take a look at my Gallery!
I do not know why the name of {Lame attempt to advertise some software} is each time deleted, cause I heared also from a forum that people used this software. before that I did not know about them, and now I am using their software. It works very well, I think everybody could decide self whether he likes it or not.
I'm going to be getting a garmin E-trex legend soon...its a handheld thats around 120$...anyone know anything about them good bad? _________________ "do you belive in elves'?

I swear if those guys don't stop spamming their software I'm gonna send them a bill for advertising. _________________ I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. - Oath of office of the President of the United States

If you want somehting really cheap that works and you have a laptop computer I would suggest Microsoft Streets and Trips 2006.
Ok I know it is Microsoft and many of you might hate it jsut for that.
I also will nto say this thing is perfect. A lot of the resturant and gas station data is out of date. However to find point to poitn directions it works well and it has voice command directions.
For about $100 at BestBuy it is cheap and easy to use. For me worth it over the high priced ones out there.
