Here are two scenarios for A64 3500 Win. on a Asus A8N-SLI, Corsair TwinX 1024-3200XL.

1) 2.85v memory, 2.5-3-3-7, 2,618 total (238 x 11) @1.55v, 1:1 mem divider = 238.

2) 2.75v memory, 2-2-2-5, 2,616 total (306 x 8.5) @1.55v, 2/3 mem divider = 201 (no 306 x 8.5 does not equal 2,616 but that's what it shows up as in CPU-Z).

#1 passes P95 for 11hours in blend test, but #2 fails the same test in 8 hours 4 minutes. Due to the memory running pretty much at stock in #2 I can't imagine that is the problem. And #1 has a slightly higher total clock so that should be fine in #2. I also ran another test that was similar to 2. It had 2.85v memory, 2-2-2-5, 2,604 total (248 x 10.5) @1.55v, 5/6 mem divider = 200. This one passed for 9hrs.

Why won't example 2 run at 2,616?

Only 3 things I can come up with

1) Fluke - Try it again

2) Heat - Possibly when you ran #2 it was warmer

3) BIOS - Check for an upgrade
