Spotlight controls, you spin the handle to rotate the spotlight and rotate/twist the black handle to move the light up or down. The brass lever is the manual control for the ships whistle.

The spotlights are pretty old, we are getting two brand new electronically controlled/focused lights installed in the next shipyard (January). I personally can't wait, nights are pretty long up here and its a pain in the a$$ docking the ship with crappy light. (hard to get a good feel for the important stuff like speed and distance in crappy light). sorta like trying to parallel park a crew cab pickup truck in the dark with a penlight.

Here is a shot of my current at home desk the desk is a complete POS as you will be able to tell but its the home of my hardware for now (untill i finish the new office area in about 2 months!)

Yes, unfortunately. My insurance company wanted more to insure them than what I pay for my home so they had to go. That and the power bills were getting ridiculous. Here's a final shot 6 months before they were sold.
