This updated on my laptop just fine last week, but continues to fail on the one desktop with Vista Home Premium. Starts to install and then quits. Error message it gives tells me nothing, but Googling it shows it is some old generic problem with Windows Update people have been seeing for years before Vista existed. Windows Update works, everything else is up to date, and the file for SP1 downloaded... it just won't install. _________________

I had to do a complete reinstall before SP1 would take. 6 reboots later it finished. _________________
It installed on Vista Business with only one FUBAR; it took out my Audigy II NX USB sound card/device. I had to use the driver from Creative to get it going again since I didn't need the driver under the original Vista release....
I notice very little difference on Vista Ultimate 32 since I likely had many of the individual updates anyways. Copying files is better, but still slow compared to XP. I still get poor frames in BF2 and BF2142, but that is likely due to poor X-FI and nvidia drivers.
