When were these released? I got one in a deal on Anandtech and they seem pretty cool, and cheap.

Mine is a 2.66GHz... 533 MHz fsb... 256K L2 cache... and less than $100 brand new (way less in trade).

Can't wait to see how it fits in with the XP2800+ and P4 2.6C I have...

The Celeron is a slower P4, what more do you need to know? Razz

I think that is what Dud3! is hoping for... Doesn't he get most of his computer components from the trash? Laughing

Glad to see some die hard fanboys hanging on though... Grin

For my HTPC, I think it'll be perfect.

You'd have to toss a mobo in as well, the only Intel stuff I have is the P3 in my printer. Razz

Laughing - my rig is going to be mostly review items... mATX case from Maxtop, mATX mobo from FoxConn, the Poseidon water cooler, some dual channel ddr, and now the Celeron D chip... Should be a decent and quiet box...

That sounds like a nice HTPC there Big Bruin now all you need is a big screen TV to hook it too and a surround sound system, unless of course you already have that

oh yeah... this one is going in the living room, especially now that the Mini-ITX box has the touch screen and plans for use in the car (another full system nearly all from reviews)
