That is a good cooler, but not quite the best! Who has mine now? Did I give that to someone here?
That was one of the first items I ever reviewed... probably Summer 2002... Several dozen heatsinks later, I'd say its in my top 10 though... _________________
what im planning on doing is putting a fan on top and reversing the fan on the bottom of heatsink. Then, put an intake hole on my side panel for room temp. cooling. then it will be the BEST cooling unit!!! MUHAHAHHAH! _________________ If you can read this, you have hacked my encryption. HACKER!

Is this the heatsink you lapped? Was it tricky with the screw heads poking through?
If I were using one now, I would take it apart, put better thermal paste around where the heatpipe tubes meet the copper base... lap the surface while disassembled, and put it all back together nice and tight... _________________
Best = Lapped and polished Thermalright SP-97 or SLK-947U with a 92mm Tornado and X-23. _________________ Due to a not-that-interesting turn of events, I am now known as Justin Danger.
Anyway, a nice, quiet Enermax 92mm 65CFM fan would still own. _________________ Due to a not-that-interesting turn of events, I am now known as Justin Danger.
