That might be the whole point - as Corsair's TIM (thermal interface material) is more expensive than the one used by OCZ. It is good, efficient and does the job but it is expensive. As for the overclocking performance the difference of 1MHz between two modules or 0.2 per cent is in the range of margin error and I do agree that you should treat the performance of both modules equally.
