I loved it, I won't compare it to the book because it was updated in certain aspects to meet with todays environment.

My only complaint is with some of the CGI. Sometimes the "realistic" CGI is ok, but sometimes it's blatantly obvious it's CGI and that's not good Sad

I enjoyed it up until the ending. I forget the original, I'll have to rewatch/reread it.

The person I went to see it with said it really wasn't anything like the book, but I haven't read the book so it was ok to me.

I agree with you on the CGI, everyone wants to jump on that bandwagon and they're not doing a good enough job.

It was an ok film because it was fun and exciting. Personally I give the movie a score of 3.5 out of 5 stars.
