If nothing else, that score clearly shows that your OC'ed E2180 is almost as far as Phenom 9500! (5032 vs. 5369 points). And, what's even better...ASUS HD3870 TOP gets 20% better score than Sapphire's 3870 Toxic(4158 vs. 3419)! Great job Dr.Feelgood.

$495 is the price according to the website. Hard to picture what type of person / group would put that kind of money out for that. I think the free license I got would be that big bucks variety!
And for a preview head-to-head... the ASUS OCed 3870 card beats the Sapphire OC 3870 card in this bench by a few hundred points. Look for the review next week.
Also interesting... 3DMark06 seems like more of a stress test than Vantage... The fans get much louder in 06 and the maximum AC power draw is 40-50 Watts higher! _________________
