buying another new monitor

so im noticing more monitors coming out with hdmi plugins and i was wondering if i buy another monitor if it should have that. My graphics card obviously doesnt have hdmi cable support but im guessing future cards on my next system would and im thinking longevity.

I currently have a samsung 22" and a 17" ....I worked out a thing with the office that theyre taking the 17 for a small price and i get to pick a new one of my choice and just pay the difference. I'm getting it this weekend hopefully and just am unsure if i need that right now since that would run me about 450 for the monitor. I'm looking at a minimum 22" but a lot of 24's have that support and could spend the money only if its worth it

I would say yes, as a good monitor is likely to last you through several graphic cards.

beeeeeeeeeeeautiful monitor but there are issues with the dvi ...yes!! basically itll stop recognizing the dvi plug ...its really annoying lol... works fine on vga but dvi is a no go... looking online others are having issues with these... its a shame bc it was only 300 and has a hdmi plug in... the picture is awesome on this.... i dont wanna get rid of it but i think i need to...

Talking about the HDMI plugins,They have DVI to HDMI cords.

I'm going to try and use that cord and go DVI to HDMI. PC end is DVI and new monitor is ofcouse im gong to use the HDMI connector

I just got a new monitor, only so I could go higher res... A SOYO 20" widescreen was $150 with free shipping, but using Paypal got 15% back. Under $130 (but not here yet).

I am not concerned about HDMI on a monitor just yet. I have one TV with it, and one without, and I have found that using a cable like Big B shows lets me connect an HDMI PC to the monitor that has DVI only. Looks great, just doesn't carry the sound, but I can send that separately anyway.
