should i step up both my cards to 260's through evga's step up program?
i have 24 days left to step up, currently it will cost me $34 each to step up a card. good deal imo, i mean, the performance difference is worth the hastle of dropping to single gpu performance while i swap the first card.

Seems like quite a little upgrade for very little cash! Go for it! 
Have specs on the exact cards... just to compare apples to apples?

I did an 8800GTS 320 to an 8800GT 512 a while back. the GT is slightly faster, but has a single slot cooler so I went for it. $10 shipping was all it cost me.

cards are shipped to EVGA finally. should have the new ones by the end of next week.
running a single barrowed 8600gt, and i have to say for what this thing costs it runs WoW great....lol
COME ON GTX 260's CRYSIS WARHEAD IS BECKONING

yeah. i received my step up RMA's on 9/15, shipped them to evga on the 23rd, they received them on the 26th and just shipped them back out to me on the 3rd. tracking of my cards show they are on their way and will arrive monday the 6th.
and yeah they definetly should cross ship : send me the replacements first. i was going to just send 1 card at a time but the rma numbers were only good for 14 days and i though it would take to long to do it that way. on well i've only been playing wow just barely at that and a 8600gt plays it fine on my q6600. but yeah i cant wait to play crysis warhead when i get these new cards.
