When I ran a cable internet service I had to occasionally roll out on difficult installs - I seen many computers that were like that.

...and people question my reasoning for Licenses To Use Computers.

I had a user years ago that had 17 as well...we stripped his rights. He had to call us if he wanted to pee. Sadly, he didn't learn his lesson...judging by the home machine he brought in months later. Strangley enough he was b!tching that his IE was slow and the window was too small.

Tech Support: Do you still have the box? Good. Put it back in the box, take it back to the store and when they ask, tell them you're too F'ING STOOPID to own a computer.

In n00bland, computer pwn you!

This was not any computer that I personally worked on, but a link that one of the other techs in the company sent me. It's almost a warning that yes, people are still dumb.

I really don't buy that. How would your everyday user even come upon the opportunity to install that many toolbars? I dont think I could find that many if I were searching for them. Hell, I've only heard of half of the crap in the picture and I'm on a computer 24/7. I call sabatojed PC by a computer nerd with too much time on their hands that wanted a funny SS. Or a funny look from their IT guy.

Either way, I say it was on purpose.

trust me, it's real. I've seen it. Most of those programs don't show up in Add/Remove either, so Joe User is too dumb to figure out how to uninstall them
