I don't see why not! It does support the right format, LGA 775, and I have run a hotter / faster chip with it. Right now my G-Power cooler is on an overclocked D840 (dual core 3.2GHz) at 3.6GHz. You should be fine, just get ready for some noise if you run at full speed!! _________________
