I have a bunch of 512MB drives from the thumb drive RAID article that I want to do something with.
Anyone have ideas of mods where these things could be hidden? PEZ dispenser? Matchbox car? I dunno...
Want to make them up, write an article on them, and then give them away.

I can make them smaller... The covers are all popped off making them tiny. The stapler idea is funny and could work. I think the "Office Space" Thumb Drive might need a USB cable to plug in though.

Surgically implant one in your head.
Make them in to a charm bracelet for your daughter/wife/mistress. 
A mobile to hang over the computer space. Bonus points if they're detachable so they're still usable. Find AOL cds for the round parts or to add shiny bits. 
1 word: Voltron.
Make a "male" Ken doll by being creative in the USB connector placement.
Remove the USB connector housing and solder it to your motherboard as a permanent soft drive (use an internal USB connector). |
