Well I jsut got my new dell laptop E1505 computer. I like it but I do have some disslikes. Of course I knew I was going to hate the finger contrlled mouse pad. I will have to look at gettign a wireless mouse. But I think that I will be able to deal with it (remember I was thinkign abotu the gateway tablet computer with stylus).

The major issue I currently have is the screen. I purchased the high quality screen for the latop. However I did not realize this meant the screen was going to be one that was a highly glossy stle. Now I can hardly see anyhitng whenever there is a source of light in the background. A light or the sun cause so much glare it makes it almost impossiable to see the screen. Are there any cures for this???

Ok to my man questions. What can I get rid or or what should I not get rid of from my computer. Here is a list of stuff I would liek to remove from the computer:

-American Online
-AOL Coach Version 1.0
- AOL Connectivity Services
- Bejeweled 2 Delex
- Earthlink setup files
- GemMaster Mystic
- Get High Speed Internet
- McAfee Uninstaller
- NetZeroInstallers

These are items that I am not sure what they are and need to kow if I should keep them or get rid of them:

- Banteck Service Agreement
- Dell Support 3.1
- Digital Content Portal
- Digital Line Detect
- Documentation & Support Launcher
- EducuateU
- ESPN Motion
- LiveUpdate 2.6 (Symantec Corporation)
- Nortan Ghost 10.1
- Otto

Qny help or direction you guys and girls can give would be apreciated.

Delete everything you listed above except for the AOL Connectivity Searches and AOL (if you are using AOL). Install the following instead:
AVG Free
Spybot Search & Destroy
FireFox
Winamp

What about the ones that I listed as unknowns:

- Banteck Service Agreement
- Dell Support 3.1
- Digital Content Portal
- Digital Line Detect
- Documentation & Support Launcher
- EducuateU
- ESPN Motion
- LiveUpdate 2.6 (Symantec Corporation)
- Nortan Ghost 10.1
- Otto

Should I get rid of these as well or do some serve a good purpose?

The only one I know does "some" good is the Dell Support. I believe that is their "Tech Support" system that they need to diagnose issues with your laptop.

Of course, if you're like many of us, you dont' need that so you should be good to get rid of it.

As for the others, you should be just fine getting rid of them.

I might keep Norton Ghost... That might be nice to have one day. Otherwise, I agree with the rest here.
