Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) includes all previously released updates for the operating system. This update also includes a small number of new functionalities, which do not significantly change customers experience with the operating system. This link came directly from Microsoft Technet.

Already slipstreamed it. Haven't gotten to test it yet but if it's good should save me a lot of time eventually.

Windows XP Service Pack 3 Release to Web (RTW) Delayed

Quote:

In the last few days, we have uncovered a compatibility issue between Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System (RMS) and both Windows XP SP3 and Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1). In order to make sure customers have the best possible experience, we have decided to delay releasing Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) to the web.

To help protect customers, we plan to put filtering in place shortly to prevent Windows Update from offering both service packs to systems running Microsoft Dynamics RMS. Once filtering is in place, we expect to release Windows XP SP3 to the web.

so few people use Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System that shouldn't be a problem, but if one glitch gets this far, there may be others.
don't toss your SP2 slipstream/images yet!

There's a working XP DX10 hack I don't remember they posted it over on Bjorn3d.

Haven't tried it yet but it's on my hard drive.
