 Hi eremitic3 - Welcome!

Sorry, I don't have a DVD burner, or any burnt DVDs that could have been used in it. Ttat would have been a good thing to test, though!

Maybe if I behave well, someone will send me the UJ-815-B...

				| Howdy,
Well, you've whet our appetite - when will you be reviewing the UJ-815-B?!
I'm especially interested to hear if it's as fast and quiet as the CW-8122-B combo drive.
Did you notice if there was an S/P-DIF output (digital CD audio out) on the CW-8122-B?

				| Welcome JamieDK -
I don't know if I'll ever see that UJ-815-B... but my mention of it in the review was to entice the sponsor to send me one of those, too...
  - We'll see how that goes!!
Also, there is no SPDIF... The IDE should carry the sound to your motherboard, which is how many modern systems do it now... There is a 4-pin analog audio connection on the separate adaptor I mentioned, but I didn't use it.
