ASUS TOP 512MB GeForce 9600GT Graphics Card
Review Image While the saying is that you get what you paid for, I think you get a little extra with the ASUS TOP 512MB GeForce 9600GT. The card performs well, the GPU doesn't get too warm, and the fan never gets noisy. The performance in 3D games should be more than adequate for casual gamers, but this card also seems well suited for multimedia enjoyment. [link]

Maxtor BlackArmor 160GB Encrypted Portable Drive
Review Image The 160GB BlackArmor provides a unique twist on a rather common item. Portable hard drives are everywhere, and in general are easy ways for people to lose valuable personal or business data. Security is the key feature of this product, and if protecting your portable data is a high priority, Maxtor has made it just about fool proof. [link]

Moneual MonCaso 972S Home Theater PC Case
Review Image The MonCaso 972S is something like an all-in-one solution for those looking to build a highly function, extremely attractive HTPC. You not only get a great case with plenty of top-notch features, but you also get a multi-function remote control and an integrated seven inch touchscreen to make interacting with your system enjoyable and convenient. The Charity Yard Sale Keeps Rolling:

So far the charity yard sale has raised over $100 for the Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation, and we're looking to increase that total greatly.  More information...

Over the next several weeks I'll be clearing the shelves of some old, and some not so old hardware.  The terms are that I am going to give 50% off all sales to a charity that deals with Aplastic Anemia. I will keep adding things to the list and will cut a check from time to time when the dollar amount gets high enough. Shipping is calculated separately and not included in the 50/50 split. People can pay via money order, check, or Paypal, and I will eat the Paypal fees (for now).  For more information please visit this link

Of interest to newsletter subscribers is that anyone who buys something and confirms that they are a subscriber will be entered to receive a $25 gift card from Best Buy.  Not a bad deal...  get some cheap hardware, help out a charity, and have pretty good odds at winning a little something extra.

The charity yard sale and gift card promotion ends September 30, 2008, or when I run out of things to sell, which ever comes first.
