Vote for the Winner of a CoolIt Domino A.L.C. CPU Cooler:

CoolIT Systems teamed up with Bigbruin.com to sponsor a give away of one of their Domino A.L.C. (Advanced Liquid Cooling) CPU Coolers, and now it is time to pick the winner.  Entries required a bit of creativity to incorporate the Bigbruin.com logo into photographs (either real or PhotoShopped), and the top ten have been selected for users to vote on. [link]

Kingston SSDNow V Series 128GB Solid State Drive
Review Image The V in Kingston's SSDNow V Series 128GB solid state drive stands for value, and that is definitely what it offers when compared to other solid state drives. Checking Newegg.com finds that the desktop kit including this drive is $239.99 with free shipping, making it the cheapest of the twenty six 128GB drives they list, and $25 less than the closest competitor's drive. The ASUS ENGTS250 1GB GTS 250 video card's heatsink is unique and not only gives the card a different look, but also makes it appealing in situations where low noise and low heat production are a must. I can see it being a good fit in a desktop or an HTPC setting where decent 3D performance may be desired, but where serious game play is not a priority. [link]

Seagate Barracuda LP 2TB SATA Hard Drive
Review Image
The Barracuda LP 2TB SATA hard drive is an excellent choice for putting together a ‘green’ external storage solution. Putting this drive in an external enclosure, or better yet a NAS, will allow for some energy savings, especially if the drive is accessed frequently. I can definitely see myself putting a LP drive (or more) in a NAS to replace my expensive home server. [link]
