A Closer Look:
Visually the
Razer Copperhead is a very appealing mouse. It has a sleek deign and the black color is nicely broken up by the blue lighting that is visible from all angles.
The blue model provided for the review looks sharp, but the Copperhead is also available in green and red.
To really appreciate the looks of the Razer Copperhead some low light pictures are needed. In these pictures you can see the Copperhead emblem, the checkered stripe down the side and around the back of mouse and the blue glow from the scroll wheel. First we have a look at the two sides.
On the bottom of the mouse we see the three Teflon feet, the laser eye, and the reset button for the onboard memory where the profiles are stored. The Teflon feet are very thick and I would imagine they will last the lifetime of the mouse and then some. At first I was not sure what the onboard memory was for. As I came to find out, it stores the profiles. So you can move the mouse to another computer and your profiles move with you, even if the other computer does not have the Razer drivers installed you will still have all the functions and profiles you had set up before, with the exception of the on the fly DPI switching, this feature requires Razer's drivers to work.
