    | Gigabyte has been making computer parts since the computer stone age, better known as 1986. Since this time they have continuously proved themselves as a leader in all the fields they have touched. In today's computer gaming market, the new technology of the SLI system allows gamers to stay a small step ahead of the video game industry.

Today we are going to take a look at Gigabyte's affordable solution to the budget gamers SLI computer system, the GA-K8N Pro-SLI motherboard.

 First Impression:

The Gigabyte GA-K8N Pro-SLI arrived in the familiar flashy green box; Gigabyte seems to have made this a trademark color for their product packaging. The outside of this particular package shows a nicely illustrated space station. The inside of the box reveals a well packaged motherboard with the usual extra items.

The extra items include additional external USB connections, cords and cables, a manual, and a few other necessary items. Most important of these is the SLI video card connector.

Oh, I almost forgot there was a motherboard under all of that stuff too... A colorful blue motherboard with some SLI goodness. Below we see the front and back of the board.
