Raidmax Sagitta ATX Gaming Case

Installation:

This case offered one of the easiest installations I have ever completed. The unique design of the tool free setup holds drives in place better than any I have seen. The hard drive bay is turned 90° to ease installation, and as seen previously, the motherboard tray comes out of the case to simplify that step.

Now it's time to fire this bad boy up and see if my new installation is smoke free. When I turned the power on one thing stood out to me more than anything else, and actually scared me a bit. It's so quiet! Nothing was smoking though, so I knew it was O.K. The 120mm fan sure does a great job of cutting down the noise in the room. The next thing I noticed was all of the blue lighting adds a very nice touch. The images below show the front of the case lit up in blue when the machine is idle, and a red tint when the hard drives are in use.

One final thing to note, the 80mm blue LED fan on the side panel. The fan has some very nice blue effects on the internal components, but that's not why I bring it up. This is possibly the only bad thing I have to say about the case, one of the blue LEDs shines directly in my eyes when I sit in front of my computer. This was easily solved with some black electric tape and sort of funny how it was pointed right in my face. The image on the left shows the blue fan lighting up the internals of the Sagitta case and the image on the right shows the same light shining brightly in my face. This is obviously a minor issue, and will vary based on how and where you set up your system.
