Thermalright V1 Ultra VGA Cooler
January 02, 2006

The Basics (continued):

In addition to the V1 Ultra, there is a collection of other items in the box. The below left image shows the two sheets included to serve as a parts list and installation instructions,as well as the Thermalright sticker they have thrown in. Although the instructions were fairly well done, there are a few steps that seem to be skipped, and others that aren't as clear as the could be. The illustrations come in handy to clear up any confusion, but less experienced users attempting to install this cooler might like a bit more information.

The above right image shows off all of the accessories included in the box. You have all of the necessary mounting hardware and brackets, a syringe of thermal paste, and a supply of eight self-adhesive RAM sinks.

The below left image shows a close up of the mounting bracket and four threaded tabs. You only need two tabs per installation, but the different sizes assure universal compatibility.

The RAM sinks are shown in the above right image, and are something I think more VGA coolers should include. They can't possibly cost that much to manufacture, but they round out the kit nicely, and really add value to the cooler. Each aluminum sink features a self-adhesive backing that should hold tightly to the memory on your graphics card.
