Zalman VF900-Cu Dual Heatpipe VGA Cooler
May 08, 2006

Zalman is a familiar name at Bigbruin.com as we have had the opportunity to look at a variety of their products over the years. Their CPU and VGA coolers bring a refined touch to taming the heat output of today's modern components, and in general they have left us quite impressed.

One of Zalman's latest VGA coolers, the VF900-Cu, looks to continue their tradition of well designed, low noise cooling while taking performance to a new high. Pictured below, the VF-900Cu has the look of a traditional Zalman VGA cooler, but incorporates dual heatpipes into the design to help keep the latest (and hottest) GPUs cool.

Although we have looked at many Zalman coolers, this one finds its way to us from a new source, Sharka Corporation. In case you are not yet familiar with Sharka Corporation, they are a provider of "quiet & extreme cooling solutions" located in Huntington Beach, California. Browsing their online store reveals many products in the same vein as the Zalman VF900-Cu, as they all offer high-end cooling solutions for your high-end system.

Packaging:

The Zalman VF-900Cu shipped from Sharka Corporation in a plain carboard box that protected the descriptive blue box shown below quite nicely on its coast to coast journey. Not only do you get a good look at the front and back of the cooler, a variety of the features and specifications (listed in more detail on the next page) are also listed here.

With the outer packaging removed, we can see that all of the components are supported and protected by a snap together plastic case.
