Low and High Bandwidth Review Indexes...

The review index was becoming a massive file with all the images and the scripts calling up the page hits for each review... So, now there are two versions (both of which will be refined eventually):

The main version will be text only:

The other version is how it was, with the tiled images and the page hits:

http://www.bigbruin.com/html/review_tiles.htm

You know, for the dial-up people out there!! Grin

Like the front end of this site isn't slow enough, I hope this little move helps!!

sounds like a good idea... but with the text version you miss out on all those pretty pictures Mad

darn, sux to be someone on the internet these days w/o broadband.

I changed the review page again, so there is some sort of organization to it, other than reverse chronological...

This one is still the same with text listings by category:

But at the bottom are links to these two...

Just thumbnail images in reverse chronological order:
http://www.bigbruin.com/html/review_tiles.htm

Text listing in alphabetical order with page hit totals:
http://www.bigbruin.com/html/review_hits.htm

These two were on one page, and it was getting way too big to download... all the images, and all the hit scripts would put a big hurt on any broadband connection, forget about dial-up... Grin

Will still work on cleaning them up...
