The number of SATA, 4-pin drive, PCI-E, and Physics card power connectors will allow the user to install a large number of devices. Then consider the addition of extras like the anti-vibration gasket and the four pin power to SATA connectors, and we have a power supply that is prepared for just about any situation. - The Review

This PSU might be really good if the end user needed 1,100 Watts or power, the 200W spare would make them happy
But who is going to waste $300 (£150) on this worthless item, 98+% of users wont need more than a 700W PSU (with 200W spare already taken into account).
I could run my current system (decent but not brilliant) and my 800W microwave with power to spare (if it used 12V that is).
Seriously, what is the point.? Bragging rights, playground willy-waving.! My Rig's PSU wastes more power than yours does, and in 5 years time I can still use the lates........ oh bugger they changed the connectors, time for a new 500W PSU then..... that costs $100
